The Scenics were an art-punk/new wave band that formed in July 1976 after Ken Badger answered Andrew Meyers’ ad in search of musical collaborators. They released one single “Karen” b/w “See Me Smile” on their own label and an album “Underneath The Door) for Bomb before calling it quits in 1981. During this time they got to play gigs with the Troggs, Viletones, Simply Saucer, the Government, Johnny and the G Rays, and many others. Mostly unheard at the time, the band became Canadian cult heroes, reforming in 2008 and released a new LP “Dead Man Walks Down Bayview” on Dream Tower Records in 2012.
hello
Good god, there’s life! (I was “here” — not here, but on the OurBasement site — earlier, and it was the same as yesterday; hence my surprise.)
How’s every little thing?
Aaaaaaaaand I have to go under the shower, to transliterate from the French. Be back soon.
Every little thing is actually YUUUGE.
Good morning everyone!
I didn’t think anyone would be here today or I would have posted something better
Well, you weren’t far off. Thanks for posting something!
