Always with the earplugs. Thankfully, the joints I go to are all (urgh) ‘woke’ as to that, and have some available at the door in case, for like a buck.
Selling earplugs at the door is something I wish venues in the States would adopt.
I’ve ‘started’ a couple of places stocking them by asking them if they had their own; being told no, I offered to get them a hundred or a gross. They’d reimburse me, cheap but decent ones going at the time for about a quarter a pair, sell ’em for a buck. Since then, I’ve kept one of them supplied, occasionally, and the other one (Pressed) has gone and bought their second (?) box of their own initiative. Yayyyyy!

Good for you Benoit. I have my own earplugs but I don’t really see them at the venues now. There was a trend of having them available in the past but I haven’t seem them for quite awhile.
I probably should buy a good set. I’ve only used foam ones up to now.
After Japandroids left my ears ringing, I bought a pair of Etymotics, and have loved them.

I like my EarPeace ones as well.
