Hi, Our Basement!

Hope the day is going great!

My new single, “How It Feels,” portrays different layers of angst and emotion. I wrote it during my time in LA while I was dealing with the dark side of a relationship, and the end of something that, ultimately, fucked with my head.

My passion for songwriting began early on in my life. By the time I was 14, I had released a country album under the name Mackenzie Rose. Just three years later, I ventured out to Los Angeles for a year, where I lived with Kiesza, Jenna Andrews, and Ron Perry, and recorded a studio session with Felix Snow. I also had the incredible opportunity to work with JordanXL, who has worked with Mike Posner and a multitude of other creative minds.

At 19 years old, I’m as ambitious as ever and continue to chase after my dreams no matter what challenges arise. With the power of music, I strive to create change in the lives of others, empowering them to heal, transform, and continue the legacy of expansion.

Props to Live In Limbo for premiering the “How It Feels” video:
