Our Canadian Indie Stream of Consciousness continues. It began with a Canadian Indie song and that led to another and another until I had 20 songs that I brought to you. We then added on to that with another and another and another until we had 60 songs at the end of the day. We are going to continue on from there and see where it takes us. Take a word from the title of one song and find another song with that word in its title. Simple as that.
Near the end of our last session we had a lot of push and pull going on and then When Push Comes to Shove led to When The Angels Make Contact and that led to If We Don’t Make It We’ll Fake It which led to We’ll Make Time (Even When There Ain’t No Time) on to Are You Gonna Waste My Time? and then No Worries Gonna Find Us and ended with Draw Us Lines. Now we need a song with Draw or Lines in it. Do you follow my stream of thought?

Neil Young back catalogue re-emerges on streaming sites
Now it seems that either Neil Young has had a change of heart about the merits of streaming music, or else he’s just given up fighting it.
The Canadian rocker has re-released all of his classic albums such as Harvest, After The Gold Rush and Rust Never Sleeps, on popular sites like Spotify and Apple Music.
Last year, Young removed his back catalogue from such sites declaring:
“Streaming is the worst audio in history.”
The 70-year-old even developed his own high-resolution audio music download service called Pono, which he described in his 2012 autobiography Waging Heavy Peace as “a bid to try and rescue the art form that I’ve been practicing for the past 50 years.”
Well Neil, I guess if you can’t beat them, join them.

Some truly sad news now, Michael Buble has announced that he is putting his career on hold after his son Noah was diagnosed with cancer.
Writing on Facebook, he said he was undergoing treatment in the US, adding: “We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.
“Keep on streaming in the free world.” Good one. I wonder if Pono is still going.
