I have hospitals, medical and healing on my mind these days. My son had some surgery and has been in the hospital for over a week. I have also been hearing stories about loved ones with various health problems including someone close to me. The playlist this week is about hospitals, health and healing. Music is good medicine. I hope the playlist helps whatever ails you.

Devin is getting out of the hospital today!
I put a couple tracks about walking on the playlist. I don’t know if you have been on a post surgery ward, but you see people at different stages of their recovery shuffling around. They get people up and walking as soon as possible to walk to help recovery.
Man, good for Devin. That means something (outside of the hospital wanting the bed), when the Dr says ‘you can go home’. !!!

I get training this morning on how to change the packing in his wound and will give up my bed for a bit at home. His room is downstairs and our stairs are old without a handrail. He will be off work for another month but getting him home is a relief.

My trip to Leeds is going well but I spent more money than I can really afford so I am hanging around the bus station waiting to go home
