Q1, Would you like to introduce yourself?
Hey! My name is Phillip Vonesh, I am the lead singer and songwriter of The Spare Parts. We
are an Americana-Rock band out of Toronto, Canada.

Q2, What is the most unusual food you enjoy eating?
Unusual always depends on where you are; my dad grew up in the midwest and passed on a
fondness for friend bologna sandwiches! I also had beef brain tacos at a cantina in Mexico
which were delicious!
Q3, Would you describe yourself as an introvert or an extrovert?
I am definitely an extrovert, though I do appreciate some quiet time.

Q4, To what extent do you plan your future?
There are plans, dreams and ideas that I have and I know I want to do, but I also covet flexibility
and the ability to change those plans. I see the destination, but how to get there is a bit fluid.

Q5, What bad habits irritate you the most?
I don’t like it when people are late, but in the music industry everyone is late; c’est la vie.

Q6, Have you ever smuggled goods through customs and if yes what was it?
In my youth, I may have accidentally smuggled not a small amount of MDMA from Amsterdam to
Croatia! I thought it had fallen out of my bag or been stolen at the hostel. Turns out it was just at
the bottom of my bag.

Q7, When did you last have a haircut?
Not too long ago! I was living in Montreal and despite an 8 PM curfew, one could still sit inside
and get a haircut. Probably early May?

Q8, And, most importantly, what is your favourite type of cookie?
I worked in coffee shops for a long time and there was this one place I worked called Morning
Glory and the owner Hannah made the BEST ginger molasses cookies. Moist, sweet and spicy
with huge chunks of candied ginger. They are still available at her brother’s shop Might And
Main.
