We all need to step away from the technological aspect of our daily lives at this moment in time and take a deep dive back into nature, at least for a weekend.

Our new single, “Wild at Heart,” taken from our forthcoming LP, captures that mood of just unplugging and calming the fuck down for a minute, taking a deep breath.

We record all of our music on an island in the middle of nowhere for a reason. You have to take a boat there and there’s no cell service. You just completely tune out and let the music come together in an organized way without any city noise and distraction.

“Wild at Heart” was the first track our band ever recorded — we knew right away the album would have the same title. It feels like a culmination of everything that The Electric Petals stand for: a very loose and beautiful energy.
