This week the playlist is about the PEI Pitch. Our cross country journey continues and takes us to the smallest province in Canada, Prince Edward Island. Celtic music is still around in the province but not as prevalent as it once was. There are many that are working to keep fiddle music alive and summer festivals on the island have plenty of traditional music to take in. The playlist will concentrate more on the indie music coming out of the province.

We last checked in on the PEI music scene March 24, 2017. Nearly five years later we are back to find out what music the artists of the province have been creating. I used the original playlist as the base for this one and updated with tracks released since then by those artists. Some are no longer active, so I just chose a different track for them. I also checked out East Coast Music Awards nominees from PEI and Music PEI Awards nominees to discover more music the province has to offer. The province may be small but there is a lot of talent to be found there.

Listen to the playlists below and find out for yourself.
