The OurBasement playlist this week is the Release Radar for January 2022 and is full of all the new music Canadian artists created to start the year. This week there is a Spotify Release Radar playlist, and the playlist on YouTube. There is also a YouTube playlist with a few new Canadian Indie videos. I am still behind on gathering those but the two playlists should have plenty to check out.

The Spotify Release Radar playlist has over 250 songs on it this month. The playlist converter can only handle up to 250 so the YouTube playlist is short a few that are found on the Spotify playlist. The tracks on the playlists are all new releases with some being teasers for upcoming albums, some from just released albums or EPs, and some are stand alone singles. There are some tracks discovered through Spotify, Exclaim or !Earshot and some from here on OurBasement. You won’t find Neil Young’s new releases on Spotify as his tracks have been pulled from the streaming service, so I added one to the YouTube playlist.
