“People Like You” is my way of giving you a big hug. It’s a reminder that everyone is special and worthy.

The song is written in honour of my friend. It was a shock to hear about his passing, because he was such a bright, funny, and kind person on the outside. “People Like You” is what I wish I could have said to him if I had known about his struggles.

I hope you can feel the light of positivity, love, and hope in my song.
