The OurBasement playlist this week is the Release Radar for April 2022 and is full of all the new music Canadian artists created in the last month or so. This week there is a Spotify Release Radar playlist, and the playlist on YouTube.

The Spotify Release Radar playlist has over 250 songs on it this month. The tracks on the playlists are all new releases with some being teasers for upcoming albums, some from just released albums or EPs, and some are stand alone singles. The tracks were discovered through Spotify and Exclaim and here on OurBasement. I am busy studying for another final exam, so it isn’t sorted in any kind of order. It does have the artists that I knew of or caught my ear in the top half and follows with a lot of new to me artists. Maybe we will discover a new favourite in there. The converter to change the Spotify playlist to YouTube can only handle 250 tracks, so a few didn’t make the cut on the YouTube playlist.
