The OurBasement playlist this week is the Release Radar for May 2022 and is full of all the new music Canadian artists created in the last month or so. This week there is a Spotify Release Radar playlist, and the playlist on YouTube.

The Spotify Release Radar playlist has over 250 songs on it this month. The tracks on the playlists are all new releases with some being teasers for upcoming albums, some from just released albums or EPs, and some are stand alone singles. The tracks were discovered through Spotify and Exclaim and here on OurBasement. The top half are tracks from artists I was aware of and some that caught my ear with the rest following. There may be some gems in that bottom half that I just didn’t get to so I encourage you to check them out. The converter to change the Spotify playlist to YouTube can only handle 250 tracks, so some didn’t make the cut to the YouTube playlist.
