The OurBasement playlist this week is the Release Radar for December 2022 and is full of all the new music Canadian artists created in the last month or so. There is a Spotify Release Radar playlist, and the playlist on YouTube.

There were fewer new releases to end off 2022 but I expect there will be many more to come in 2023. There are just over 100 songs on the playlist this year so the Spotify and YouTube playlist should be the same. Other than when the convertor does not always get the right songs for the YouTube playlist but most are correct. The tracks on the playlists are all new releases with some being teasers for upcoming albums, some from just released albums or EPs, and some are stand alone singles. There are some tracks on there this month that were released earlier in the year but I just became aware of them. The tracks were discovered through Spotify, Earshot, Exclaim and other sources. The top half are tracks from artists I was aware of and some that caught my ear with the rest following. Besides that, they are in no particular order. There may be some gems in that bottom half that I just didn’t get to yet so I encourage you to check them out.
