Hi Our Basement,
“Give a Little” is about the tension in society today. Those moments where you turn on the news and it’s never about anything good.
It’s about taking a deeper look to question what we’re all doing to bring a little more light into the day-to-day.
We worked with producer Howard Redekopp in Vancouver to create the track, recording the bed tracks live in a single day at Hipposonic Studios. This provided a raw sound which we are able to recapture during our shows.
“Give a Little” provides an opportunity for both self-reflection and establishing one’s outward intention.
We, like you, are trying to practice patience in our day-to-day lives, showing a little more kindness to strangers, friends and neighbours.

Scenic Route To Alaska.

Good morning!
I had a long day working at an election poll yesterday starting at 6:15 am and ending at 9 pm. I missed Scenic Route to Alaska here Sunday night because of too much going on and that early morning. Wish I could have gone to their show.
I am a bit shocked that my province voted all blue. Most of the people in my world were saying anything but blue.

Thanks for your labors Dar. My wife has worked the polling station before, she said it can be a long day.
It went surprisingly fast. My polling station was pretty steady all day.
I had a nap after the Ceeb called the Liberal minority and was shocked to see blue in so many places. At least the PPC didn’t get a seat.
It’s pretty discouraging for westerners to have it decided before our votes are even counted. :-/
I enjoyed the video up there by the way. Good performance by the girl in it.
