Q1, Would you like to introduce yourself?
Yes hi, my name is David Sait. I play an instrument called the guzheng, usually in improvised scenarios around Toronto. Proud Dad, I like to stay active, work hard, and carve out time every day to make music. I’m also really stoked about a new album I collaborated on with Friendly Rich and {AN} EeL called “A Muffled Snore”.

Q2, Did you send a card last valentines day?
Yes, delivered to our kitchen table.

Q3, How would you rate your negotiating skills?
Decent. Being fair in a negotiation so both sides feel positive about the experience is ideal and keeping in mind why you were negotiating in the first place.

Q4, Were you a healthy child?
Yes, I was healthy through sports but also had challenges with bad allergies/asthma to balance things out. I would wake up early in the morning and run out the door to play street hockey all day-night with the older kids or go dirt bike riding through the farm fields behind our house.

Q5, What is the worst type of discrimination you have experienced?
I haven’t really had to experience the type of discrimination towards me that others in my community have had to deal with. I like the idea of building bridges, actively paying attention to the perspective of others, and then stepping in where needed.

Q6, When were you first asked for your autograph?
When I first opened a bank account.

Q7, Would you rather eat 2 cloves of garlic or 6 spoons of cod liver oil?
Garlic?

Q8, And, most importantly, what is your favourite type of cookie?
Craig’s Cookies on Queen West (Toronto) has the best cookies. So many crazy flavours, but the Mars bar cookie is a battle tested fav.
