Q1, Would you like to introduce yourself?
I’m Liam! Nice to meet ya.

Q2, Do you share the same taste in food as your partner?
I’m highly non-picky, so yes! These days I’ve been eating to live rather than living to eat, I’m sure that will change at some point!

Q3, How old do you feel?
I’ve always felt older than I am – I’m 22. At times, I feel my age. Other times I feel 30 something.

Q4, To what extent do you plan your future?
Fairly extensively. I wish I didn’t, but I’m always setting goals and looking to make them happen. It’s the only way I know to keep myself feeling good and healthy. I also have always had a general sense for the kind of person I want to be and the kind of life I want to live, and I try to keep my values in mind as I’m going through my day to day.

Q5, What things embarrass you?
I used to have a tendency to lie or exaggerate stories. I hated this about myself, because I would get hopelessly embarrassed if I got caught. I guess this is obvious, but at some point I realized that if I just told the truth about everything all of the time, I would never have that experience again, and weirdly it was life-changing.

Q6, When did you last have a hair cut?
Like… 18. months ago probably? I am a little overdue. Having long hair is nice 😉

Q7, Who should take most credit for your success?
I haven’t really reached a place in my life where I feel comfortable thanking people for my ‘success’. I need to work a little harder first! However, being that there are different ways to measure success, and I felt successful this year when I finished my first solo album, and I have a lot of people to thank for that, including my former bandmates, parents, mentors, friends – the usual suspects.

That said – I’ve always liked that video where Snoop Dogg thanks himself for what he’s accomplished. I don’t take very many (if any) days off, I work two jobs to support my music habit, and working like that does not always make you feel inspired. My life is not hard by any means, but it does get hard to keep pushing like that, and I never want to let myself stop.

Q8, And, most importantly, what is your favourite type of cookie?
It’s gotta be a chocolate chip oatmeal. Cookies are supposed to have chocolate in them.
